POSTPONED: Women’s Lecture Series – Sarah Harshbarger and Elizabeth Adair
Following CDC guidelines restricting events involving 50 or more participants, this event has been postponed.
McNeese MFA graduate students Sarah Harshbarger and Elizabeth Adair will give presentations Thursday, March 26, at 12:30 p.m. in the McNeese Room of Frazar Memorial Library as part of the spring 2020 Women’s Studies Lecture Series.
Harshbarger’s presentation, “Bone Tired: Cycles of Guilt in Bonnie Jo Campbell’s ‘Mothers, Tell Your Daughters,'” focuses on the topic of female guilt in the work of author Bonnie Jo Campbell, while Adair’s presentation, “Working Women with Disabilities: Difficulties and Strategies for Coping in Ableist Spaces,” discusses working women with disabilities.
A light lunch will be provided. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.
The Women’s Studies Lecture Series is sponsored by the Juliet Hardtner Endowed Professorship Fund.
