Nineteen McNeese State University accounting students recently completed 3,000 hours of community service in tax preparations as interns for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program through United Way of Southwest Louisiana.These students provided free basic tax return preparation for eligible taxpayers on campus and at sites in Lake Charles, Sulphur and Jennings, according to Mike E.
