Students

Use Banner Self-Service to register for classes, view your class schedule, pay fees, view financial aid information, view your grades and transcripts, and update your address, phone number, and e-mail address.

  • User ID: Your User ID is your McNeese student identification number. If you do not know your student ID number, you can obtain it by presenting a picture ID to Student Central in Chozen Hall. If you are unable to come to campus, you can request your ID number by completing the and mailing or faxing it to the Registrar’s Office along with a copy of a picture ID.
  • PIN: Your PIN is comprised of 6 numbers and/or letters and is case-sensitive. If you are new to McNeese, your PIN may be your date of birth in the mmddyy format. If you do not know your Banner PIN, you can request that it be reset to your date of birth by presenting your picture ID to Student Central in Chozen Hall. If you are unable to come to campus, you can request a PIN reset by completing the and mailing or faxing it to the Registrar’s Office along with a copy of a picture ID. If you are unable to come to campus, you can request your ID number by completing the request form and mailing or faxing it to the Registrar’s Office along with a copy of a picture ID.
  • Students are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all login credentials for university software, which serve as the sole means of identity verification. Allowing an unauthorized user to access university software by sharing login credentials for any university account is a violation of the Code of Student Conduct.

Faculty

Use Banner Self-Service to register students, view class lists, grade courses, etc.

  • User ID: Your User ID is your McNeese identification number, which is located on the top left-hand corner of your timesheet.
  • PIN: Your PIN is comprised of 6 numbers and/or letters and is case-sensitive. If you do not know your PIN, you can obtain it by presenting your picture ID to University Computing Services, Financial Aid Building Room 103 B.
  • Users shall not allow unauthorized users to access IT resources, which includes sharing login credentials for any accounts for which they have authorization.
