Independence in Autism Conference
The 2015 Independence in Autism Conference, presented in partnership by Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana and the McNeese Autism Program, will be held July 31st in Baker Auditorium, Farrar Hall, on the campus of McNeese State University.
This event is designed to provide therapy services professionals, education professionals, family members, and other caretakers with tools and resources that will assist them in helping foster independent living skills for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental and intellectual challenges.


This event has been funded through the 2015 Magellan Seed Grant Program from Magellan Behavioral Health. This is a community education event and there will be no charge for registration.

Event Parking & Location

This event will be held in Baker Auditorium, on the campus of McNeese State University. Baker Auditorium is located on the first floor of Farrar Hall, which is listed as building #8 on the campus map, found here:
On July 31st, public parking will be available anywhere on campus, with the exception of the following locations: Please do not park in handicapped designated areas (without proper tags), any fire lanes, any individually reserved spaces (which will be noted with a sign), or in spaces that are not designed for parking vehicles, such as grass areas. We ask that you please park in any student or faculty/staff parking areas.
