McNeese Fall Preview Day - Saturday, October 6, 2018

We at McNeese State University invite you to a campus-wide open house for prospective students and their families.
During this one day, you can meet faculty & staff, tour the dorms, visit the student union and bookstore and see what McNeese has to offer you. You can also learn more about our colleges and majors, get information about admission and pick up some financial aid and scholarship information, too. Bring your family and friends, and we'll see you Saturday, October 6, 2018.
This event has different sessions, campus tours, and housing tours that you choose when you would like to attend. 

Online registration

Only prospective students need to register.
(Each participant should register separately. If your are bringing a group each person needs to register.)

Housing Tour Offerings Residence Hall Room Viewing 
Housing tours will be hosted between 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Tours will leave from the Housing lobby (#21 on the campus map).  Please plan for a 15-minute wait for a room tour. 
Admissions Information Meet an admissions counselor and apply for college in the Holbrook Computer Lab between 12 p.m.-2 p.m. (#13 on the campus map).
Bookstore The McNeese University Bookstore, located near the student union, will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (#24 on the campus map).

As a token of our appreciation for attending Fall Preview Day, prospective students can use their wristbands for free admissions into the football game. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend?
Fall Preview Day is a campus wide Open House. There will be programs that will appeal to young and old alike. Prospective students, former students, and anyone wishing to learn more about McNeese State University will want to come.

Do I need to register?
Please register online to attend.  Registration is recommended, but not required.

What does it cost?
Fall Preview Day is free, but you will want to bring money to shop at the McNeese bookstore.

Can I meet with an admissions counselor while on campus?
Admission Counselors will be available in the Student Union Annex area to answer your questions.  

Are campus tours available and do I need to register for a tour?
General Campus tours will be available.  Registration for campus tours are not required. Check the schedule for times and meeting locations.  Please arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled tour.

Will I get to see a dorm?
Yes, during the housing tours you will be brought into each different dorm option. 

Do I need to check-in at any particular location?
Yes,  There will be a central check-in location at Bulber Auditorium.

Where are the sessions located?
Sessions are located in various buildings throughout campus.  Please refer to the "Schedule of Events" and review the location each session will be offered on our campus map
