Class Descriptions:


Yoga  (Starts 1/20) A class that will help you to increase flexibility, cope with stress and learn basic meditation techniques. Beginner's are welcome! Instructor: Dr. Elizabeth Hait. Held in the Aerobics room.


Fitness Express  (Starts 1/20)  Get fit in less time!  This 30 minute class will provide a strength and cardio workout.  This class will be done in a circuit format which involves moving from one exercise to another, each exercise working a different muscle group to achieve a full body workout.  It will include cardio stations and strength training stations using bodywieght, resistance bands, medicine balls and dumbbells.  Suitable for any fitness level.    Instructor: Kelly Darbonne. Held on the Rec's track.


Power Sculpt  (Starts 1/19) This class will combine resistance training with a few plyometric movements to engage your muscles and joints to work through full ranges of motion, allowing you to get stronger!  You will learn how to properly perform full body exercises to prevent injury and optimize strength and power performance. Instructor: Jade Hernandez. Held in the aerobics room.

Boot Camp (Starts 1/25) Torch calories and get lean with this class!  This class will combine strength and cardio exercises for a high intensity, full body workout. Instructor: James Sanders. Held in the aerobics room.

Loosen Up (Starts 1/25) 
Enjoy a relaxing series of stretches that will ultimately increase your range of motion, prevent injury, and keep your body feeling good and ready to perform.  Instructor:  Jade Hernandez.  Held in the aerobics room.

Core Fit (Starts 1/19)  This class will help you to build a more stable, powerful abdomen and lower back to improve fitness, straighten posture, and provide a healthy foundation to get through your daily life.  Instructor:  James Sanders. Held in the aerobics room.

Cardio Kickboxing (Starts 1/26)  Enjoy a total body workout as you kick & punch targets and perform strength & cardio exercises.  Improve your strength, flexibility, and endurance--all while learning self defense!  Instructor:  Joon-Young Hong.  Held in the aerobics room.

**Classes that are held at lunch time (11:30am-1pm) are free for employees to attend.  Classes that are after 1pm require a Rec membership. Students pay a Rec fee in their tuition, so there are no additional charges to attend the exercise classes on the fitness schedule.**
