Holbrook Student Union Procedures

Holbrook Student Union is busier than ever. In order to better serve our patrons, we wanted to clarify some points regarding reservation processes, paperwork, and equipment usage. This information is primarily for student groups, university departments/colleges, and other on campus entities. All reservations by off campus personnel are coordinated with the Office of Public Relations and University Events. Contact Candace Townsed at or 337-475-5635

Operating Hours

New Ranch Facility

Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 10:30pm
Friday: 6:00am - 4:30pm
Saturday - Sunday: (according to Frazar Memorial Library operating hours or as necessary)

Old Ranch Facility

Monday - Sunday: 6:00am - 12:00am

Student Union & Activities Office (New Ranch)

Monday - Friday: 7:45am - 4:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Information Booth (New Ranch)

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Saturday - Sunday: (as needed)

Facility Use Request

For McNeese Students, Faculty, and Staff: To reserve venues for meetings or special events, log in to your My McNeese Portal. Then look for the "Campus Links" section under the Home tab and click "Facilities Use Request".  Prompts will direct you from there.

For Non-McNeese Personnel: You must coordinate your reservations through the Director of Public Relations & University Events.  Contact Candace Townsend at 337-475-5635 or email  For a list of facilities, rate schedules, and venue coordinators, visit Use the navigation panel on the left hand side of that page.

This information pertains only to venues coordinated by the Student Union & Activities Office.  Contact other venue coordinators for specific information regarding their facilities.

Technical Equipment/Services Requests

If you would like to request technical equipment services you will need to fill out the online Technical Equipment Request Form. Technical equipment sevices are not guaranteed and is administered upon availability. Contact the Student Union & Activities Office at 337-475-5609 or if you have questions about technical services.

Table Requests

If you are a registered student organization/university department and wish to reserve an information table, the process is simple. Fill out an online Table Request Form which only needs an Organization representative's digital signature. A phone call or email will confirm or deny your reservation.  Student organizations completing table requests for fundraising or cash transaction purposes must also complete the Student Organization Fundraiser Request Form.

Outside entities must contact the Office of Public Relations and University Events for tables requets as well.
