Narrative
McNeese State University (MSU) is in compliance with Federal Requirement 4.6.
 
Recruitment literature and other information distributed by McNeese State University is accurate and in accordance with institutional policies (listed below). All policies are listed on the University website in the Faculty and Staff Area. The Office of University Marketing & Licensing and the Office of Public Information at McNeese review all of the content of recruitment materials, both print and electronic, prior to publication and distribution.

Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and administrators actively participate in the student recruitment process. Recruitment information is distributed through one or more of the following venues: (1) Fall and Spring Preview Day: Cowboy Q & A Day; (2) High school, Transfer, and Graduate School College fairs; (3) The Academic Catalog; (4) Road Piece, Brochures, Flyers, and Application Packet; (5) Postcards; (6) University website; and, (7) McNeese Social Media Pages (sample materials provided below).  

Again the office of University Marketing & Licensing and the Office of Public Relations at McNeese review all of the content of recruitment materials, both print and electronic, prior to publication and distribution. The University Catalog is available in electronic format on the University website and is produced and edited in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Academic Support. Before the catalog is published, all academic areas participate in an annual review of content. Once the content is accurate, it is reviewed by the Director of Institutional Effectiveness & Academic Support and the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.
