Requirement

The institution is in compliance with its program responsibilities under Title IV of the 1998 Higher Education Amendments. (In reviewing the institution's compliance with these program responsibilities, the Commission relies on documentation forwarded to it by the U.S. Secretary of Education.)

Narrative

McNeese State University is in compliance with its program responsibilities under Title IV of the 1998 Higher Education Amendments.

The United States Department of Education re-authorized McNeese State University to participate in Title IV Student Financial Assistance Programs in 2003. The University is in good standing, and the Program Participation Agreement is valid until 2009.

As part of the Single Audit of the State of Louisiana, the Office of the Legislative Auditor conducts biennial audits of the Title IV programs at McNeese State University. The audits are conducted in accordance with U.S. Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133.  McNeese State University receives an individual management letter, which discloses the results of the audit.
