The 2009 Board of Regents LEQSF Grant Request for Proposals (RFP) are now available on the Board of Regents web page.

Each of the LEQSF Proposal packets can be found with a referenced RFP and the associated forms that are required for proposal submission. Included in the list of funding opportunities is the following:
  • Enhancement - which includes both Traditional and Undergraduate Subprograms
  • Graduate Fellows and Graduate Fellows for Teachers Subprograms
  • Atlas - which is the Artists and Scholars Research Subprogram
  • Research & Development - which includes both the Research Competitiveness Subprogram and the Industrial Ties Research Subprogram

Please see the schedule for due dates, including dates for Notices of Intent.

Please note that Notices of Intent are required for all three Research and Development Subprograms. Notices of Intent for the RCS and ITRS are due on September 11, 2009. Notices of Intent for Atlas are due on October 8, 2009. You must use the provided Notice of Intent forms found on the BOR site when submitting your Notice of Intent, and the completed forms must be routed through the Office of Research Services prior to the due date before they can be sent to the BOR.

This year both the Enhancement and Graduate Fellows Grant Proposals will be submitted by a prescribed electronic format. Please read each RFP carefully for instructions and requirements. The last day you may ask questions directly to the Board of Regent Program Managers is October 1, 2009. To assist PI's with preparing their enhancement proposals, Research Services is providing prior year enhancement forms. Completing these forms prior to electronic submission into the BOR LOGAN system will ensure faster submission since all the necessary information will already be completed.

A representative from the Board of Regents will be visiting McNeese to answer questions about the LEQSF proposals. For more details about the workshop scheduled for Friday, September 18 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm, please see the Board of Regents Workshop Announcement.
