Late Registration Begins Aug. 22

Students registering late for the fall 2014 semester at McNeese State University can register online or with their faculty adviser Aug. 22-26.

A one-stop registration help desk will also be available from 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, Monday, Aug. 25, and Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the Academic Computing Center in Kirkman Hall to assist students who need help navigating the registration process.

At the help desk, representatives from financial aid and the registrar's office will be available to answer questions and help with pin/password resets. Students can use computers in the center to go online to register and make online payments for tuition, fees and parking decals.

Students must be admitted to the university prior to registration and should see an adviser to get their alternate PIN, if required, prior to registration or dropping by the help desk.
To register, students can go online to and click on the "Current Students" tab and then select Banner Self-Service under Registration to begin the process.
Students who late register must pay fees by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, or all courses will be dropped. They can go online at to see the Payment Policy on credit card payments and online payment changes.
There is a $75 late registration fee. First-time freshmen and students who sign up for three hours or less will not be charged. For more information on fee payment, contact the McNeese Accounting Office at 337- 475-5107.
