It is imperative that all students provide the university with current, up-to-date addresses. Addresses can be changed at the Office of the Registrar, through the MyMcNeese portal, or by downloading and submitting a completed Address and Telephone Number Change Form to the Office of the Registrar. To request a change to your name, you must complete the Name Change Form and present copies of supporting documentation to the Office of the Registrar. Only those name change requests accompanied by legal documentation will be processed. Examples of acceptable legal documents include a birth certificate, marriage license, divorce decree, court order, etc. Questions regarding name changes should be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 337-475-5356.
Social Security Number Changes
To request a change to your social security number, you must present your social security card at the Office of the Registrar. Questions regarding social security number changes should be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 337-475-5356.
To change your curriculum, you must obtain the form from your current or new advisor or department. The form must be signed by your current department and the department to which you want to move; both academic department heads involved must approve the change. Return the completed form to the Office of the Registrar.
A curriculum may be changed through the last day for late registration for a particular term. Any curriculum change form received after the last day for late registration will be processed for the next semester or term in which the student enrolls.
