Aerobics


A wide variety of aerobics classes are offered free of charge to current McNeese Rec Members. The range of classes include: step, hi/low impact, abs of steel, fat burner, body sculpt as well as specialty areas put on periodically such as water aerobics, self-defense, kick-boxing and so on. The schedule changes each semester.

Aerobic Classes for Spring 2011

Beginning January 24, 2011 in the REC Complex, Aerobic room

Monday, 3-4pm = Gym Ball
Monday, 4-5pm = Hip-Hop Dancing
Monday, 5-6pm = Boot Camp

Wednesday, 3-4pm = Lower Body and Abs

Thursday, 4-5pm = Hip-Hop Dancing

Short Description

Gymnastic Ball is a fun workout which includes arms, core, and balance exercises with a gymnastic ball.

Hip-Hop is a dancing class in which you will learn different combinations each time. Hip-Hop is an opportunity to get a workout while enjoying moving to the music.

Lower Body focuses on legs. Numerous squats, lunges, and lifts will shape your lower body and increase your endurance.

Boot Camp class includes general exercises for all muscle groups. Any special requests will be taken into consideration.
