Psi Chi McNeese Chapter

About Us

Psi Chi at McNeese has a goal of improving the education and lives of our members and the community around us.  We currently have a focus on service, whether that service is to Community, University, Department, or Membership.  Several current strains of activity in the Chapter are Research, Education, and Service.

Our service to the Community is multi-faceted.  From Hurricane Relief Food Drives to working as volunteers at fundraisers for the Children’s Museum, we have a hand in many community enrichment projects.

Our service to the University and Department focuses on what we can do for other students.  We are currently in the process of developing a Student Educational Assistance Program so that members of Psi Chi may help other students in their studies, enriching those students’ educations and aiding the university in supplying a deeper level of education.

One way we serve our members is to send them to the Southwestern Psychological Association’s Annual Conference each spring.  We also assist them in developing their curriculum vitae and otherwise aid them in the process of continuing their education at a higher level.

If you are interested in becoming a member or would like to attain more information about our organization, please feel free to contact us.
