MY MCNEESE is the University’s Portal that allows single signon capability access to your e-mail/webmail, Blackboard, and Banner accounts.

In order to access the MY MCNEESE Portal you will need your New User Name and Password. In order to get this information:

If you are a McNeese STUDENT:

1. Go to: www.mcneese.edu/bannerselfservice/

2. Click on the Student link to BANNER SELF-SERVICE.

3. Click on Enter Secure Area

4. Enter your USER ID and PIN
   
       Your Banner USER ID is your McNeese student identification number, a nine digit number
       starting with zero.
   
       Your initial Banner PIN is your 6 digit birthdate in the format: MMDDYY. If you have previously
       changed your PIN, use that PIN. If you forgot your PIN, click on the Forgot PIN? button after
       entering your USER ID.
   
       If you do not know your Banner Self-Service User ID or PIN, you can obtain either one by
       presenting a picture ID to the Registrar's Office. If you are unable to come to campus, you can
       request your User ID or PIN by completing the request form and mailing or faxing it to the
       Registrar's Office along with a copy of a picture ID. If you have any questions about Banner
       Self-Service, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (337) 475-5356.

5. Click on Login

6. Click on Find Your MyMcNeese Portal ID
   
   This page states your ID that you will use to sign on to the mymcneese portal.
   Your initial portal password will be your 9 digit banner user ID.

7. Once this information is retrieved, click on EXIT in the top right hand corner to leave BANNER SELF-SERVICE.

8. Go to the portal: mymcneese.mcneese.edu. (You can bookmark this site for quick access.)

9. Enter your User Name: (the name you retrieved from Banner Self-Service) and Password: (your nine digit banner user ID)

10. Click on login
    
    You are now logged on to the MyMcNeese Portal. From here you can access your e-mail/webmail, Blackboard, Grades, and other Banner information. You will have to change your portal password at the first or second login.

If you are FACULTY or STAFF:

1. Go to: www.mcneese.edu/bannerselfservice/

2. Click on the Faculty link to BANNER SELF-SERVICE.

3. Click on Enter Secure Area

4. Enter your USER ID and PIN
   
       Your USER ID should be a nine digit number starting with zeros.
       Your initial PIN is your 6 digit birthdate in the format: MMDDYY. If you have previously changed your PIN, use that PIN.
   
   If you do not know your BANNER Self-Service User ID or Pin, please contact Tina in University Computing Services at 5185 or by email fuselier@mcneese.edu.

5. Click on Login

6. Click on Find Your MyMcNeese Portal ID
   
   This page states your ID that you will use to sign on to the mymcneese portal.

    You are now logged on to the MyMcNeese Portal. From here you can access your e-mail/webmail, Blackboard, Grades, and other Banner information. You will have to change your portal password at the first or second login.

OTH students

If you are an OTH student, you will continue to access blackboard as before.

If you need your MyMcNeese Portal password reset:

If you forget your MyMcneese portal password, you can have it reset by presenting your picture ID to Wendell Jones at University Computing Services, Kaufman Hall, Room 322. If you are unable to come to campus, you can request to have it reset by completing the request form and mailing or faxing it to University Computing Services along with a copy of a picture ID. You can also use the online password reset tool.
