Responsible for reviewing Shearman Research Initiative proposals and recommending priorities for funding.  The Shearman Research Awards committee is composed of a Faculty Representative from each academic college, a representative of the Library, and two representatives from Research Services.  This ad hoc committee reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
