The program includes works by Gluck/Sgambati, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev.
Saxon has performed hundreds of concerts as a soloist and as a collaborative pianist on three continents and he released his first solo recording in 2005. His performances are characterized by the passionate commitment of his playing, the clarity of his musical ideas and his dedication to a beautiful sound.
Saxon holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Alabama. He is currently associate professor of music and the coordinator of the collaborative piano program at the University of Texas at Brownsville.
