(September 6, 2016) McNeese State University’s Department of Performing Arts will present a free faculty recital at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, in Tritico Theatre as part of the department’s fall Faculty/Guest Recital Series.

The program will feature: “A Hymn for the Lost and the Living (In Memorium, Sept. 11, 2001),” by Eric Ewazen, with Dave Scott on trumpet and Lina Morita on piano; Spanish Dance No. 1 from "La Vida Breve" by Manuel de Falla and arranged by Emilia and James Flegel, with Jay Kacherski on guitar and Morita on piano; “The Warrior’s Sanctuary, Op. 15 No. 7” by Robert Schumann and “The Warrior” by Capt. Phil. B. Catelinet, with William Rose on euphonium and Anne Rose on piano; Clarinet Concerto in A major by W. A. Mozart, with Jan Scott on clarinet and Morita on piano.
