The car wash was a fund raiser for the Spring 2002 Conference at NASA Clearlake (Houston, Texas). It was a success considering all the competition we had. Four other car washes were going on at the same time within 3 blocks. We raised $250 dollars. Not bad for 4 hours of work. The car wash was at the Cheveron in front of Wal-Mart on LA 14.. We had many people participate, which really helped in the event's success.
We will plan another car wash (if it ever stops raining). We hope to get the same success.
