
ACTIVITIES
Alpha Psi Omega was the Homecoming Float 1st prize winners in the small division of the
McNeese State University Homecoming Parade for the 1998-1999 year.

Wubben is our busy bee. These float riders partied their way to first place in the 1998
Homecoming parade!
The first Show of the season is entitled Theives Carnival and
will be opening on October 20, 1999. It will be running every night at
7:30 through October 23rd and a matinee performance will be on Sunday
October 24th at 2:00. Concesions will be provided by Alpha Psi Omega and
all profits go to AYO.
The second Show of the season also traveling to Theatre Festival is Can't
Pay, Won't Pay which will open on McNeese stage November 10th and run
through November 14th.
Day Without Art will be held December 1st 1999. This day, dedicated to
remembering those artists who were taken by AIDS, will feature several
different performances from all artistic realms.

The 1999 Alpha Psi Omega Gala was once again a great success. The
evening was topped off by the announcements of the new AYO
Margery Award winners. And the winners were.
- The AYO Stage Hog Award was
presented to Tarra Scott for her performances in Eleemosynary, Barrymore
and the Bard, and Annie get your Gun.
- The Golden Screw Award was given to Technical Director John
Abbeglan for the most memorable technical mishaps of the season
- The Grace Award was presented for the third year running to
Naomi Hatsfelt for her dramatic exit in Beatrice.
- The Golden Zipper was presented to newcomer Bradley Troll for
his costume as Sitting Bull in Annie Get Your Gun.
- The Sour Note Award was given to John Allen Armstrong for the
most memorable song of the season for his portrayal of Charlie in Annie
Get Your Gun.
