The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is an orgainization that ties chemical engineers together, and helps inform engineers of new technologies in the profession. At McNeese we try to continue the work done at the national level and promote professionalism among chemical engineering students. Our goal is to enhance the experience of chemical engineering students and help them become the best chemical engineers they can be.

McNeese State University is located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and is surrounded by industry. McNeese is respected for producing "practical" engineers that are able to go to work immediately and do their job well.
