Fifty McNeese State University nursing students enrolled in Nursing 301, Nursing Fundamentals, volunteered Home Health Care 2000 Health Fair with the National Kidney Foundations KEEP program that is designed to screen patients with possible risks for developing kidney disease. McNeese nursing students conducted blood tests, urine screenings, patient interviews and blood pressure measurements on patients attending the fair.
The College of Nursing offers two undergraduate degrees, the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and the Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and, as a member of the Intercollegiate Consortium for a Master of Science in Nursing, the graduate degree, the Master of Science in Nursing Degree (MSN) and a family nurse practitioner concentration.
