The Paul Taylor Dance Company kicks off the 2016 season of Banners at McNeese with a performance on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in Rosa Hart Theatre.

The McNeese Performing Arts Department will host a free guest recital titled “Beyond Classical: Voices of African-American Composers” Saturday, Feb. 20.

First Federal Bank of Louisiana has donated $5,000 to McNeese State University through the McNeese Foundation for the C. Marshall Abadie Memorial Scholarship fund.

A free seminar titled “Cash Flow – Lifeblood of Your Business” will be offered from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, on the second floor of the McNeese SEED Center.

Heather Ryan Kelley, a professor of art at McNeese State University, currently has a solo exhibition titled “Lacuna” on display at the Baton Rouge Gallery.

The McNeese Department of Visual Arts is sponsoring a gumbo fundraiser from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex Atrium.

Dr. Ray Brassieur will give a lecture titled, “Louisiana Healing Traditions Into the 21st Century,” at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22 in the McNeese SEED Center.

A life and health insurance pre-licensing course will be offered Feb. 19-20 and Feb. 26-27 on the McNeese State University Campus.
