CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital donated $5,000 to the McNeese State University Alumni Association to help sponsor 2015 Homecoming Week activities Oct.17-Oct.24.

The McNeese Department of Performing Arts will present a free concert featuring the Chamber Singers at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in Tritico Theatre.

McNeese art professor Gerry Wubben will have a solo exhibit opening Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Art Associates Gallery in the Central School Arts and Humanities Center.

A reunion for McNeese State University Co-Ed Cheerleaders – hosted by the McNeese Alumni Association - will be held from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Noland Alumni Pavilion as part of the Homecoming 2015 celebration.

McNeese State University’s chapter of Society of Professional Journalists was recognized as the Region 12 Outstanding Campus Chapter of the Year at the recent 2015 SPJ Excellence in Journalism Conference in Orlando, Fla.

2014 Career Fair
The fall 2015 McNeese State University Career Fair will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Recreational Complex on campus.

Nursing parade float
The 2015 McNeese State University Homecoming Parade is scheduled to roll down Ryan Street at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, and the community is invited to participate.

McNeese State University Theatre will kick off the fall season with a lab production of “Yet Another Shakespeare Rewrite” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1-2 in Tritico Theatre.

CB&I of Lake Charles has presented at $15,000 donation to McNeese to establish the endowed CB&I Engineering Scholarship in the McNeese College of Engineering.
