McNeese Spring Preview Day for prospective students and their families is Saturday, February 22.
McNeese Spring Preview Day is Saturday, February 22, 2014. We at McNeese State University invite you to Spring Preview Day, a campus-wide open house for prospective students and their families. During this one day, you can meet faculty and staff, tour the dorms, visit the student union and bookstore and see what McNeese has to offer you. You can also learn more about our colleges and majors, get information about admission and pick up some financial aid and scholarship information, too.  Bring your family and friends, and we'll see you Saturday, February 22, 2014. King and Queen
Colten Miller, a marketing senior from Lake Charles, and Leah Moore, a nursing major from Welsh, have been named as McNeese's 2013 Homecoming King and Queen.

Members of the 1963 McNeese football team are serving as the grand parade marshals of the 2013 Homecoming parade at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.

Lake Charles Toyota has donated $5,000 for the operation of the new McNeese radio station KBYS located at 88.3 FM that will be laucned in 2014.

The W.R. Grace Foundation has donated $6,000 to McNeese State University through the Foundation to be divided between the McNeese colleges of business and engineering.

Westlake Chemical has donated $5,000 to the McNeese State University College of Engineering through the Foundation for the college's engineering endowment campaign.

McNeese fans have a chance to give a competitive edge to their Cowboys against one of their big rivals - the Cardinals of Lamar University - by donating blood in the name of the university now through Nov. 20.

Radio station logo
Kathleen Higgins, a 2011 visual arts graduate of McNeese State University has won the KBYS logo contest for the new radio station - KBYS 88.3 FM - to be launched in spring 2014 on the McNeese campus.
