The SAGE lecture series at McNeese State University will continue its spring program on Louisiana history with a lecture on the early days of New Orleans jazz by Dr. John Troutman.

(February 9, 2015) Louisiana State University Shreveport will present a one-day seminar, “Business Law Exam Preparation for LA State Contractors Licensing Applicant,” from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, on the McNeese State University campus.             This seminar will aid potential state contractors seeking to prepare for the business law portion of their Louisiana State Contractors Examination.             Cost is $115 for the session and $95 for early registration by Feb.

The McNeese State University Theatre Bayou Players will kick off the spring season with a production of Steve Martin's comedy, "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 4-7 with a 2 p.m. matinee Feb. 8 in the Tritico Theatre.

(January 21, 2015) The Louisiana State University Shreveport Continuing Education Department will present a seminar, “National Electrical Code,” from 6-9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Feb. 2-18, on the McNeese State University campus.             The seminar will prepare the participant to sit for a journeyman, master electrician or state contractor license. The seminar will also work to enhance participants’ overall knowledge of the National Electric Code.             Cost is $295 and doesn’t include the Study Reference and Electrical Theory manual also required for the course.
