Spring Fling 2017 hits the McNeese State University campus for students April 2-6 with several events planned throughout the week.

March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month and this year’s theme is “Have the Conversation.”

The McNeese State University men’s rodeo team placed first while the women’s team tied for sixth place at the recent Texas A&M University Rodeo March 17-18.

Banners at McNeese State University is partnering with Cinemark Lake Charles to return a film classic “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” to the big screen in Lake Charles at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 25, as part of its 2017 season.

The McNeese State University Mavericks donated $5,000 through the McNeese Foundation for the Pride of McNeese Marching Band.

On Wednesday, March 22, the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese State University will join with hundreds of other SBDCs around the country to celebrate SBDC Day.
