McNeese State University’s chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society has recently inducted 89 students into the society.

The McNeese Performing Arts Department will host a faculty flute recital featuring Judy Hand at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, in Ralph Squires Recital Hall in the Shearman Fine Arts Center.

The McNeese State University Department of Visual Arts will host High School Portfolio Day 2014 for junior and senior high school art students from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Feb. 22, in the Abercrombie Gallery.

The McNeese State University Visual Arts Department will sponsor a gumbo fundraiser from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex Atrium.

McNeese State University’s Financial Aid Office is co-sponsoring a Financial Aid Awareness Day from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the Student Union to remind students that it’s time to reapply for financial aid for 2014-2015.

The Second Annual Economics Day Conference will be held from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the Conference Room of the SEED Center at McNeese State University.
