Kicking off the second weekend of the 2017 Banners at McNeese State University will be a performance by the world famous Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass Band at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17, in Tritico Theatre.

An opening reception for an exhibition of artist's books featuring both current and former McNeese State University visual arts students will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9.

Professor of English Dr. Keagan LeJeune has won the Louisiana Library Association’s 2017 Louisiana Literary Award for his book, “Legendary Louisiana Outlaws: The Villains and Heroes of Folk Justice.”

Department of Performing Arts will present the McNeese Chamber Singers in a free concert Tuesday, March 7, in Tritico Theatre.

A notary public exam prep course will be offered by the Electronic Learning Office from 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, March 9-May 24, in Room 118 in the Burton Business Center on McNeese’s campus.
