Family, friends and former students of Dr. Kalil P. Ieyoub have established the Dr. Kalil P. Ieyoub Scholarship in Science with at $12,591.25 donation through the McNeese Foundation.

Barbara and DePorres Cormier of Stone Mountain, Ga., have donated $15,000 through the McNeese Foundation to establish the Melvin J. and Theresa Cormier Sr. Scholarship.

The McNeese State University honor roll lists undergraduate students earning at least a 3.0 or B average while carrying 12 or more semester hours.

To be on the President’s Honor List, an undergraduate student must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average or better while carrying at least 15 semester hours.

A free seminar titled “Starting and Financing a Small Business” will be offered from 10 a.m.–noon June 11 in the McNeese State University SEED Center.

The Governor’s Program for Gifted Children (GPGC) will be offered at McNeese State University this summer June 7-July 25.

A summer engineering academy for students entering grades 9-12 will be offered July 13-31 by the McNeese State University College of Engineering.

The McNeese State University Summer Reading Clinic will be offered June 6-30 for students entering grades 1-6.

The McNeese State University All-Star Summer Band Camps program will be held June 14-18.

Students who have enrolled and registered online for McNeese State University’s 2015 summer classes have until 4:30 p.m. June 3 to pay fees.
