The McNeese State University Department of Performing Arts will present a free percussion studio recital at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, in the Tritico Theatre.

HRH Prince Georg von Habsburg-Lothringen will present a free lecture titled, “Past Empires Strike Back: Europe’s Uncertainties” at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at McNeese.

The McNeese SAGE series will host a lecture titled “Art in 19th Century Louisiana” from 3-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at the McNeese SEED Center.

Fiction writer Angela Flournoy will give a reading from her works at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in Stokes Auditorium of Hardtner Hall at McNeese State University.

A workshop titled “Security and Anti-theft Tips for Small Businesses” will be offered from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, at the SEED Center at McNeese State University.

The 15th annual McNeese Homecoming Step Show competition will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in F.G. Bulber Auditorium.

The McNeese State University men’s and women’s rodeo teams took first place in the recent Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo in Mt. Pleasant.

The McNeese Performing Arts Department will present a free guest artist recital featuring Dr. Hsiaopei Lee on viola with Elizabeth Moak on piano at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20.

The McNeese SAGE series will host a presentation by McNeese theater and performing arts students titled, “Irving Berlin: A Great American Success Story” Monday, Oct. 19, in the Tritico Theatre.

A workshop titled “Tax Preparers Update” will be offered from 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the SEED Center at McNeese State University.
