A one-stop registration help desk will be available to students during late fall registration Aug. 21-25 at McNeese State University.

Howdy Rowdy Welcome Week is August 24-28, and offers students the opportunity to become engaged with campus life and connect with new and returning students.
(August 18, 2015) Thousands of McNeese State University students are heading back to campus for the fall semester that begins Aug. 24. Several activities are scheduled during Howdy Rowdy Welcome Week - set for Aug. 24-28 - to welcome back both new and returning students. Representatives from student organizations, the Greeks, university offices, academic departments, local businesses and community service agencies, and campus ministries will have representatives on campus during this week to introduce the students to what the campus and community have to offer, according to Kedrick Nicholas, director of Campus Life & Engagement at McNeese. Students registering late for the fall 2015 semester at McNeese State University can register online or with their faculty adviser Aug. 21-25.

The Harold Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established at McNeese State University with a donation of $15,247.39 from the estate of Harold L. Pearson.

McNeese's College of Engineering ranks third among all public and private institutions in the nation with the greatest lifetime return on investment for its engineering majors.

McNeese will host a free seminar titled "Networking for Business" on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 5-7 p.m. on the second floor of the SEED Center.

The McNeese State University Foundation has received a $60,000 donation from the McNeese Black Alumni Chapter.

McNeese State University President Dr. Philip Williams accepted a $135,000 donation from Rick and Donna Richard of Lake Charles to create a scholarship

Students who have registered online for McNeese State University’s 2015 fall semester have until 4:30 p.m. Aug. 19 to pay fees. Fall classes begin Aug. 24.

Registration for the fall semester at McNeese State University is currently underway through Aug. 17.
