(August 18, 2015) Thousands of McNeese State University students are heading back to campus for the fall semester that begins Aug. 24. Several activities are scheduled during Howdy Rowdy Welcome Week - set for Aug. 24-28 - to welcome back both new and returning students. Representatives from student organizations, the Greeks, university offices, academic departments, local businesses and community service agencies, and campus ministries will have representatives on campus during this week to introduce the students to what the campus and community have to offer, according to Kedrick Nicholas, director of Campus Life & Engagement at McNeese. Students registering late for the fall 2015 semester at McNeese State University can register online or with their faculty adviser Aug. 21-25.
The Harold Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established at McNeese State University with a donation of $15,247.39 from the estate of Harold L. Pearson.
