A free screening of the 2014 documentary film, “Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me,” will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the Cinemark Movie Theatre in Lake Charles

A beef symposium will be held 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, in the Cowboy Club Room at McNeese State University’s Cowboy Stadium.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author and McNeese State University alumnus Adam Johnson will give a free reading of his fiction at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 8.

The McNeese Performing Arts Department will host an evening of musical theater titled “The Beauty Is…,” which will feature soprano Hailey Ford Coburn, at 7 p.m. Friday, April 8.
