For its final film of the 2017 season, Banners at McNeese State University will present a free screening of The “Free State of Jones” at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Cinemark Movie Theatre in Lake Charles

(April 13, 2017) Six orientation sessions are offered this summer for incoming freshmen for the 2017 summer session or fall semester at McNeese State University. All first-time freshmen are required to attend a one-day orientation, which includes orientation, academic advising and class registration for their first semester at McNeese. Orientations will be held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. May 17, May 25, June 7, June 23, June 29 and July 12 in Tritico Theatre in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex. Students must register in advance for the orientation date they plan to attend by going online to www.mcneese.edu/gbst.
