The McNeese State University Department of English and Foreign Languages will host two free events the first week of February

February 4 - 7:30pm to February 8 - 2:00pm
The McNeese State University Theatre Bayou Players will kick off the spring season with a production of Steve Martin's comedy, "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 4-7 with a 2 p.m. matinee Feb. 8 in the Tritico Theatre.

McNeese State University financial aid staff members will visit area high schools in January, February and March to explain financial aid application procedures to students.

Calcasieu Cinema International presents the film, “Storm,” at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the Central School Arts and Humanities Center in Lake Charles.

The McNeese State University Department of Performing Arts will present a free recital “An Evening of Chamber Music” at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23, in the Tritico Theatre.

January 20 - 8:00pm
The McNeese State University Department of Performing Arts will present a free concert on Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. in the Tritico Theatre on the McNeese campus.

Students registering late for McNeese State University’s spring 2015 semester can register online or with their faculty adviser Jan. 16-21.

The honor roll lists undergraduate students earning at least a 3.0 or B average while carrying 12 or more semester hours.

To be on the President’s Honor List, an undergraduate student must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average or better while carrying at least 15 semester hours.

Fifteen McNeese State University students received the Summa Cum Laude (3.90-4.00) designation in fall commencement ceremonies held Saturday, Dec. 13, at Burton Coliseum.
