A seminar titled “Starting and Financing a Small Business” will be offered from 5-7:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Epps Library, 1320 N. Simmons St., in Lake Charles by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese State University.

This seminar is recommended for individuals interested in starting their own business. Information on financing a start-up business, learning how to write a business plan and the expectations of lenders will be available.
