The McNeese State University Rodeo Team won the men’s competition at the recent Southwest Texas Junior College rodeo at Ulvalde, while the women’s team finished second.

In bareback riding, Jeremy Mouton finished second, Winn Ratliff finished third and Kyle Labrucherie finished in fourth place.

In saddle bronc riding Kobyn Williams finished in third place, while Dean Wadsworth finished in fourth place.

Katie Perkins and Jeremy Mercer finished second in the team roping competition.

In barrel racing Lara Deweese finished in first place.

At the Northeast Texas Community College rodeo at Mt. Pleasant, Williams finished second in saddle bronc riding with Wadsworth finishing third and Labrucherie finishing in fourth place.

In barrel racing, Lara Dewees finished in sixth place while Victoria Roach placed eighth.
