The McNeese State University Student Government Association plans several events in honor of Patriot Day on Friday, Sept. 11.

A remembrance table will be set up in the Student Union Annex (New Ranch) to commemorate those lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and during the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

At noon, the McNeese ROTC will raise the American flag to half-staff at the flagpole in front of Kaufman Hall. A moment of silence will follow to remember all of those lives lost.
