McNeese State University conferred degrees on 656 students at the university's fall commencement on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
The Fall 2013 Commencement ceremony at McNeese will take place Saturday, December 14 at 10 a.m. at Burton Coliseum. Over 700 students are scheduled to receive their diplomas. Ninety-two associate degrees, 532 bachelor's degrees and 140 master's degrees will be awarded to candidates from 34 parishes, 21 states and 18 countries during the ceremony.   Dr. Jeanne Daboval, provost and vice president for academic and student affairs at McNeese, will serve as master of ceremonies and confer degrees on candidates.   The McNeese Wind Symphony, directed by Dr. Jay Jacobs, will perform the processional, national anthem and recessional.      McNeese President Dr. Philip C.

Dr. Henry Sirgo, professor of political science at McNeese State University, has been honored with one of two national Pi Sigma Alpha's Chapter Adviser Recognition Awards for 2013.
