The McNeese State University Department of Performing Arts will present a guest artist recital featuring violinist Lin He, assistant professor of violin at Louisiana State University, and pianist Lina Morita, assistant professor of music at McNeese, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, in the Shearman Fine Arts Theatre.

An exhibit highlighting the 50th anniversary of McNeese State University’s Frazar Memorial Library – its history and development from 1961 to present day - is currently on display during regular library hours through Dec. 11.

McNeese State University will host a Parents Weekend Oct. 7-8. “This weekend is a great way for parents to connect with their student and enjoy what McNeese has to offer,” said Kedrick Nicholas, Assistant Dean of Student Services.
