McNeese State University welcomes thousands of students back to campus for the fall semester during Howdy Rowdy Week set for Aug. 14-17. Classes begin Aug. 15.

Forty-two 10th and 11th graders from around the state are exploring areas of outer space at McNeese State University’s summer Reach for the Stars Explorer Camp this week.

The Greater Lake Charles Rotary Club recently donated $15,000 from the proceeds of its annual auction to McNeese State University for the Greater Lake Charles Rotary Scholarship Fund, which was established with the McNeese Foundation in 1992.
