McNeese State University and the Louisiana Consortium of Insurance and Financial Services at Louisiana State University in Shreveport will present a pre-licensing course for life and health insurance from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Sept. 12-20, in Room 118 of the Burton Business Center.
 
This course provides 32 hours of class time suitable to prepare an individual to sit for the Life and Health Insurance Licensing Exam. The class material is designed to prepare the student for the exam and provide a good education for a career in insurance. Topics include basic terminology, concepts, sales, the fundamentals of insurance law and agent responsibility.
