McNeese State University and the Louisiana Consortium of Insurance and Financial Services at Louisiana State University in Shreveport will present a pre-licensing life and health insurance course from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, July 11-12 and 18-19, in Room 118 of the McNeese Burton Business Center.

This course provides 32 hours of class time designed to prepare students for the Life and Health Licensing Exam and provide a good education for a career in insurance. Topics include terminology, concepts, sales, the fundamentals of insurance law and agent responsibility.
