McNeese offers H1N1 vaccine to all MSU students

McNeese State University will begin administering the H1N1 Influenza Vaccine to all students beginning Wednesday, Nov. 4. There is no charge for the vaccine.

Any currently enrolled McNeese student up to age 48 with a valid student ID card may come to the Community Health Care Clinic (located on the North Side of Hardtner Hall facing Sale Road) from 3-7 p.m. to receive the vaccine.

The vaccine that will be given is the nasal spray. The nasal spray is only intended for healthy people age 2-49 who are not pregnant and do not have certain health conditions.

Students who need a valid McNeese ID can visit McNeese’s University Police on Tuesday or Wednesday morning to get one made.

Information about the H1N1 vaccine is posted on the McNeese Emergency Communication Web page at www.mcneese.edu/emergency.
