The McNeese State Cowboys kick off what is expected to become an exciting tradition on campus this Saturday, Sept. 19, prior to the McNeese State vs. Savannah State football game at 7 p.m. in Cowboy Stadium. It's called the "Cowboy Walk" and all players and coaches will be "taking the walk" from Common Street down Blue-Gold Drive and through the McNeese tailgating section up to the Jack V. Doland Field House.

The walk starts between 3:45-4 p.m. when the team finishes its pre-game meal at the McNeese cafeteria. Players will be bused from the cafeteria to the intersection of Common Street and Blue-Gold Drive, will disembark and begin their walk through the middle of the tailgating section. Players will be wearing their uniform jerseys and will be accompanied by coaching staff members.

McNeese fans are urged to come out and support the Cowboy Walk.
