McNeese State University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice online in an accelerated format for adult learners who have some college credit but have never earned a degree.
This program is part of a statewide adult learning initiative known as CALL, or Center for Adult Learning in Louisiana, sponsored by the Louisiana Board of Regents.
“As a growing number of students at universities consist of adult learners over age 25, there is an immediate need to provide degree programs that will be appropriate for the family, work and time commitments of those individuals,” said Matthew Welsh, McNeese adult learning coordinator. “CALL addresses this need.”
He said 60 adult learners are currently enrolled in the program. Spring registration at McNeese is currently underway through Nov. 30. The online offerings are included in the spring class schedule that is now online at www.mcneese.edu.
More information on eligibility and on how to apply for the program is available at www.mcneese.edu/call or by calling Welsh at (337) 562-4239. |
