Sheila and Eric A. Sanders have donated $5,000 through the McNeese Foundation for the Theresa Sanders Memorial Scholarship.

McNeese Leisure Learning is offering an 11-week summer program for children in grades 1-8 May 25-Aug. 7 as part of its Kids College program.

McNeese State University’s Class of 1965 will be honored during the annual celebration of the McNeese Alumni Association’s Golden Scholars Society on Friday and Saturday, May 15-16.

McNeese State University will hold its spring commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at Burton Coliseum, with 764 candidates.

The McNeese Autism Program is sponsoring a three-week summer camp for children ages 3-9 that runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday June 8-26.

The first Rowdy Rascals Nutrition Camp will be offered from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. June 1-5 in Gayle Hall for students in grades 2-5. May 11 is the registration deadline.

Dr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Watson have given $75,000 to the McNeese Foundation.

Cyro Delvizio, a Brazilian guitarist, composer and scholar, will present a free lecture at 7 p.m. Monday, May 11 at McNeese State University.

McNeese students Joel Byrne, a biological science senior from Elton, and Jacqueline Clark, a general studies senior from Lake Charles, have been selected as Mr. McNeese and Ms. McNeese.

Knight Media Printing has donated $7,500 to Banners at McNeese.
