Northeastern University Professor Emeritus Dr. Jack Levin will present a lecture on the sociology behind mass murder at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, at Tritico Theater as part of the 2017 Banners at McNeese State University season.
Dr. Kiran Boggavarapu, head of the McNeese State University Department of Chemistry and Physics and an associate professor of chemistry, is a co-editer and a co-contributor of the recently released book, “Clusters: Structure, Bonding and Reactivity,” published by Springer.

Meghan Fleming, associate professor of art at McNeese State University, is one of 37 Louisiana artists to be featured in the recent book, “Expressions of Place: The Contemporary Louisiana Landscape,” written by New Orleans native John Kemp and published by the University of Mississippi Press.
(April 13, 2017) Six orientation sessions are offered this summer for incoming freshmen for the 2017 summer session or fall semester at McNeese State University. All first-time freshmen are required to attend a one-day orientation, which includes orientation, academic advising and class registration for their first semester at McNeese. Orientations will be held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. May 17, May 25, June 7, June 23, June 29 and July 12 in Tritico Theatre in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex. Students must register in advance for the orientation date they plan to attend by going online to www.mcneese.edu/gbst.
