Entrance Requirements

ADMISSION TO THE MBA DEGREE PROGRAM
 
In addition to the general requirements for admission to the Graduate School, applicants for admission to the MBA program must meet the necessary departmental requirements to be admitted to the MBA Program (both face to face and online) which includes an acceptable GMAT or GRE score in addition to meeting admission formulas as applicable.
 
The GMAT or GRE score must be submitted directly from the Educational Testing Service to McNeese State University and the time the test was taken must be no more than five years from the date of submission.

Additionally, applicants for admission to the MBA program must meet the following requirements:
  • A minimum of 400 on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75.
    OR
    A minimum of 286 on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) on the current scale and an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75.
    OR
    A minimum of 800 on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) on the old scale and an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75.
  • The GMAT or GRE score must be submitted directly from the Educational Testing Service to McNeese University and the time the test was taken must be no more than five years from the date of submission.
Admission to MBA program is open to domestic students. International students can apply only to MBA program.
Domestic students should apply to the Dore’ School of Graduate Studies at McNeese State University.
International students should apply to the Office of International Programs.
