McNeese Kids College All-day Program

McNeese Kids College All-day Program

The McNeese State University Kids College summer program offers children and teens exciting classes in everything from superhero science camp to cooking lessons and from computer design to puppet mania throughout the months of June, July and August.

New this summer is the Kids College All-day Program for students entering grades 1-6. The program is offered from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with early drop off and late pick up available. The all-day program begins May 27 and continues through Aug. 8.

Participants can continue to pick and choose the number of activities and on what days to take a variety of classes available.

All camps are designed to be fun for participants, as well as to improve academic, artistic or physical skills, according to May Gray, coordinator of Leisure Learning/Kids College.

"Our program provides opportunities for area children to make friends, expand their horizons and achieve personal growth through age-appropriate activities," said Gray.
