Happy Habitats and Insect Investigators (Gr 1 & 2)

A habitat is an animal's home. Students will explore places where animals find food and water, shelter, hide, and raise their young. The students will explore the trails and ponds and see plants that are important to animals.

Students work as "insect investigators" to identify several common insects and their unique characteristics. The students will also learn the importance of insects in our environment.
