ABOUT THE COURSE
This 2-day course enables the participant to understand the complete range of welding practices and procedures while increasing their proficiency and broadening their capabilities.
Participants will learn about applied metallurgy, welding process applications, safety and troubleshooting. The course material is in accordance with the American Welding Society.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is designed for welding operators, technicians and supervisors to gain a better understanding of welding repair procedures encountered in a maintenance environment.

Vernon Miller has been an instructor for NTT since 1999. His professional experience includes working at AMAX, Henderson Mill Site (Instrument I Class), Echo Bay Minerals, McCoy Mine (Electrical/Instrument Supervisor, Process Engineer) and Denver Mineral Engineers (Process Control Engineer). Mr. Miller's education and training include Electronic Technology at the Cleveland Institute of Electronics, Fisher Provox Configuration and Maintenance, Texas Nuclear Radiation Safety, Effective Process Control in Mineral Processing, Foxboro Mechanical and Pneumatic Instrumentation School, Taylor MOD III Maintenance and NEC Telephone Switch Maintenance.
