ABOUT THE COURSE
This three-day course explains how to match the valve, actuator, and accessories to the process and to other equipment.  This course covers general applications and emphasizes the sizing and selection methods for a broad variety of control valves and actuators.  We will also discuss the engineering aspects of flow, pressure, and temperature measurement.

INSTRUCTORS
 Jake Walahoski, is the lead instructor for Control Valve Engineering I and II.  Jake started his career with Emerson Process Management in 2010 as a sales engineer for Fisher focusing on control valve sizing and selection for various industry applications.  He joined Educational Services as an engineering instructor in 2013.  Jake utilizes his background in engineering and his work experience with control valve applications to effectively communicate with valve users from various industry and professional backgrounds.  Jake has a degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Iowa State University and resides in Marshalltown, Iowa.
 
Leo Paz started his career with Rosemount Service / IVS in August of 1992 as a Field Service Specialist.  In 1999 he became a Certified Instructor for Rosemount Measurement products.  In this role he performs Field Service and Customer Training to customers in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana and elsewhere in the US as needed.
