Dr. Pankaj Chandra, P.E. is professor and program coordinator of Mechanical engineering at McNeese State University. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Chandra worked as an engineering consultant in India for 8 years. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Louisiana). He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A & M University in 1987. His research interests are in Heat transfer - Gas Turbine Blade Cooling. Dr. Chandra has authored over 20 technical papers and conference presentations, and has led many review courses for the mechanical engineering licensure examination.

Dr. Zhuang Li is an assistant professor of Mechanical engineering at McNeese State University. He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration. Before joining MSU Dr. Li worked as a research and development engineer at Spectra Quest Inc. in Richmond, Virginia, for three years. Dr. Li received two B.S. degrees in Precision Instrument Engineering and Industrial Engineering, and the M.S. degree in Precision Instruments, respectively. He obtained the Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in 2005. His research interests include acoustics, vibration, dynamics, and signal processing. He has published more than twenty journal papers and book chapters. He is member of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), IIAV (International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration), and ASA (Acoustical Society of America).

Dr. Ning Zhang is an assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering at McNeese State University since 2008. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University in 2005. From 2006-08, he conducted his postdoctoral research at the Urban Operational Laboratory, a United State Marine Corps (USMC) sponsored program, on enhancement of non-lethal capabilities and protective technologies for modernization of the Marine Expeditionary Rifle Squad (MERS). Dr. Zhang's current research includes sediment and oil-spill transport in coastal water systems, hydro turbine optimizations, and chemical reaction in turbulent flows. Dr. Zhang is a senior member of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He is the Vice-Chair of ASME Computational Fluid Dynamics Technical Committee.
